Q: What is this test conducted for?
A: The common written examination (CWE) is for Probationary Officer/ Management Trainee posts in 19 public sector banks.With the score, you can apply for PO posts in any of these banks directly.
Q: What is the min.percentage needed to register for this combined bank exam?
A: Pass in degree is the only educational qualification.No specific percentage.
Q: Can final year/semester students & those waiting for results apply ?
A: No.Those who have not completed degree as on July 1, 2011 are not eligible to apply for this combined bank exam.
Q: I have not received degree yet.Can I apply with provisional certificate?
A: Yes.If your results were declared on or before July 1, 2011 & have got marksheets or provisional certificate – You are eligible to apply.
Q: I am in final year of college.Can I apply for this test next year?
A: The common bank exam (written test) for PO jobs will be conducted twice a year(once in six months).So you could register for the exam in the next phase.
Q: Will banks conduct any other test for PO recruitment?
A: No.Candidates securing minimum qualifying marks in this all India common bank exam would be given scorecards, valid for 1 year. Each public bank will announce PO vacancies mentioning eligibility, test score etc.Those who have the specified score & meet eligibility conditions can apply,following which the bank will shortlist applicants for GD or Interview process.
Q: Can i change the details entered in online application?

Q: What books can be referred to prepare?

A: Candidates must download the call letter for common bank exam 2011 from IBPS website (www.ibps.in) after Sep 4 & it wont be sent through post.
